Alexandre Gama is a highly respected advertising executive who was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1958. As a Brazilian businessman, Mr. Gama has received numerous awards for his work in advertising. Not only has been named one of the leading professionals in his industry, but he has also had the privilege of having his company receive two Golden Lion awards from Cannes within the same year. His company Neogama was actually the very first advertising agency from Brazil to ever win a Golden Lion award from Cannes, which amazingly occurred within the company’s first year of existence.
Alexandre Gama’s notoriety in the field of advertising began to occur just a few short years after he graduated from Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation with a degree in advertising and communication. By 1990 he had gained employment with a company known as DM9 where he worked as both a copywriter and Creative Director, during which he became the most recognized and awarded copywriter of his time. Not only did Alexandre Gama go on to start his own advertising company, but he also became involved with numerous enterprises in Brazil, including the Brazilian Board of Advertising Agencies and the Global Creative Board for which he is currently the only Brazilian member.
